What's "in store" for Fall

With no "in between" days or "grey area" Fall is already here. The temperatures went from high 30's to low 20's and now into the low teens, in just a few days. The humidity has been replaced with cool, breezy, breathable air, which has shoppers already asking for Halloween items and believe it or not even Christmas shopping!
Usually we are closer to the end of September before the pumpkins, ghosts, and goblins come out but not this year! I have already made the trip to the wholesalers and have had some fun decorating for Fall despite the reno's.

We played hooky from the reno's at the shop and went to Christie Antique Show on Saturday. Once again it failed to disappoint!! We spotted many great pieces and got  re-inspired from the many dealers. These are a few of my favourite things..I will show you what we came home with in another post.

Enjoy this beautiful season, cuz we all know what's coming next :S

Great decorations and finds at the show! I may just have to stop by in the morning while I'm in town to see what you got! I'm itching to decorate for fall, lol. Ya, don't mention the "s" word although you guys get off easy with it. I may live only 20 minutes away, but we always get dumped on and I'm holed up in the house all winter long :P

Hi Natalie! Thanks for your visit and comment! The title of the fish book shows in the vignette, it's The Trout Fisherman's Bedside Book! You've got a great looking shop and blog! A great fall look going on!

NO! You are too far away!
I love the look of your shop -- you are living my dream; I've always wanted an antiques/home furnishings shop.
I know it is hard work -- but you seem to be doing it right.
Is it really that cold where you are???
We're chilly now -- 70s in the day, high 50s at night.
An early fall for the NY area.

well remember we are celsius so 50 fahreheit is the same as 10 celsius and 70 fahrenheit is the same as 20 celsius so we are pretty close to the same as NY,thanks for the compliment..we try!

Love your shop! It was always my dream to have something similar. Although it's not in the cards right now, you certainly have given me hope and inspiration!
